President and CEO
Nick Thompson is a furniture industry lifer. Born and raised in the industry, he has grown up working in virtually every role of a dealership including installation, intern, business analyst, sales support, project manager, sales, sales manager, CFO, Vice President, and now President and CEO of re|DISTRICT. Nick is a graduate of Babson College with concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship and has served as the Vice Chairman of the National Dealer Alliance.
After serving the company since 2001, Nick led the company’s transformation in 2013 from a local Herman Miller dealer to an Authorized Steelcase Dealer serving clients nationwide.
Gary Donley earned his BA in Business Administration from Shepherd University and his MBA from the University of Maryland. Gary has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, having worked as a Senior Account Executive, and then moving into management positions. At every post, he has met and surpassed his goals, developing relationships with large-scale companies and government entities.
A lifelong resident of College Park, Md., Gary came to re|DISTRICT in 2011.
Gay Bedwell is a problem-solver, a skill she picked up during her 20 year tenure on the operations side of the furnishings industry. She is a graduate from George Mason University.
Gay has completed a number of significant contract furniture projects, including the installation of 17,000 Kimball Cetra workstations for a large communications company in the D.C. Metro area. On large projects such as this, Gay credits her ability to develop a timeline for successful on-time completion as a major asset.
Erin Davison started out in the Order Entry Department, where she was involved in a very large project for Andrews Air Force Base. Now, as the Controller, she applies her extensive experience to managing the accounts receivable, commissions, weekly management reports, and overseeing all re|DISTRICT accounting activities.
