There is growing awareness on the issue of worker wellbeing and the economics related to this issue. We believe the physical workplace can actually help. We see a paradigm shift on how to measure the effectiveness of space and how space protects an organization's most valuable asset - their people. Our presentation will share the trends and issues of wellbeing we have observed in the workplace. Please join us to explore this topic and share your own thoughts and experiences. 
SPEAKER BIO: KEVIN BUTLER, MS, CPE
Senior Ergonomist | Biographical Sketch


Kevin Butler is a Board Certified Professional Ergonomist who holds both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University and The Ohio State University, respectively.

Kevin has played an integral role in National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) research initiatives. Kevin also has extensive experience as an ergonomics practitioner, assisting organizations of varying sizes in the design and implementation of their Ergonomic and Wellness program development efforts.

Kevin has written articles for professional journals which include Occupational Health and Safety magazine and Facilities Management Journal on various ergonomic topics affecting today’s workforce.

Kevin holds professional affiliations with the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics (BCPE), the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES), and the Institute of Industrial Engineering (IIE). He is also a lifetime member of the Industrial Engineering Honor Society, Alpha Phi Mu, and has been a continuing education certified presenter for the International Interior Design Association (IIDA), the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), and the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
